Artemisia - Wormwort(?) Dividing

I planted a bed with Artemisia last year and it has taken over.  Can I do the
same as with lavender to divide it??? It is very wood and I really want to cut
it back.  It's hogging the sun from others in the bed.   Thanks,Lani
