We shopped price, and ended up buying for a reasonable price from a
neighborhood vendor (we like to support local merchants whenever we can).
We bought a Mantis and border edger for $300.
If we had purchased directly from the company, the cost for the same
(including postage) would have been $324.
At last weekend's garden show, we say prices ranging from $285 to $319, for
the tiller alone. There were a couple of demo models that were going for
$249. still fully-warranteed.
The "border edger" is an attachment that is often tossed in for free.
Keep in mind that the Mantis is a mini-tiller, but very powerful.
