The rabbit poop is black gold. You should be able to apply it straight to
your garden, even side dressing around the plants, in reasonable amounts.
We get some from our neighbors rabbits. It's much 'cooler' than other poops
like chicken or even horse or cow manure.
Getting rid of them may be as effective as my trying to keep the crows out
of our birdfeeders. <g> If you really want to try, we got a loaner
'Havahart' trap from our SPCA. All we had to do was sign for it and pick it
up, then drop it off when we were finished with it.
I picked up an affectionate mom cat and her 3-4 week old kittens from the
dump. One kitten was real scared, had to trap it, couldn't take the others
without leaving it behind otherwise.
It still won't come closer than 6 feet. Always wants to be in the area you
are, just not too close. I'm hoping that she will get over it by next year,
so I won't have to trap her again for her annual rabies booster...
