hydrangea "forever pink"

Hi all-

I have 12 new hydrangea "forever pink" planted this spring.  They're
quite small (from Bluestone).
They're starting to form buds.  Should I take the buds off, since the
plants are small  (8") and new?
Will that help the plants?  I have the feeling the blooms could be
larger than the plants!!
