Moving plants?

Hi All,
    I am thinking about dividing my crysanthemum 'Hillside Pink'.  It is
huge and is falling apart in the middle.  Will moving it now affect the fall
bloom?  Our weather is suddenly very hot and am waiting for a somewhat
cooler day to do this.
    Also, my chocolate eupatorium has just a few leaves at the moment.  It
must be a late starter, since we have had warm weather since March.
