Nicotiana

Thank you for the welcome Portland -area people! I am quick to use your
knowledge! Has anyone seen any Nicotiana sylvestris around town? I haven't
looked all over yet, and hate to, since I've already bought armsloads of
plants this year already, and still want to go to the Lonesome Garden plant
sale this weekend. I'm trying to save room (in my garden as well as my
wallet) for that, but if I set foot in a bunch of nurseries, I will not be
able to resist! I am a plantin' addict!
Anyway, I've never actually seen the tall white Nicotiana sylvestris in
person, in a yard or a nursery, and I've set my mind to get some. Does
anyone have any experience with this interesting tender perennial? Does it
reseed, since it won't overwinter here in zone 7-8, I'm sure. Is the scent
all its cracked up to be?
