Interesting, Bill. I have problems each year in the fall when I go into
the garden center to buy bulbs. Within minutes of starting to pick them
out, I itch all over my body. No visible rash, just the itching, that
eventually dies down after I leave the store. Formalin never occurred to
me, but I am a quilter and when I spend a lot of time in a fabric shop
handling unwashed fabric, I have the same reaction. Formalin is, or was, an
ingredient in the sizing put on fabric.
