Re: Poison ivy

Hi all-
I was at a local Nature Center this week and a guide recommended using the
gel-like substance in the stem of jewel weed to ease the discomfort of stinging
nettles, mosquito bites etc. Has anyone tried this (or even heard of this?) and
would it work on the itch of poison ivy?
Just wonderin'...
