Re: Poison ivy

Hi Barb,

You bet your britches the jewel weed works!!! My family po-po's me but
when they have poison ivy or any other rash they can't get to respond to
other treatments here they come for me to swab on my magic excelsior. I
seep the stems of jewel weed for 5 min or so, making a light tea looking
substance that doesn't keep well unless you refrigerate it. I keep a
quart jar in
my refrigerator year round. I also dry some of the stems and when I
travel for a extended time I take them along. Even dried the stems will
make a potion ("tea") that will relieve itching.

One of our son-in-laws is a pharmacist and I keep telling him he could
run some tests and make a fortune selling the patent. But here again
it's a" sure mom sure" kind of thing.
