Coreopsis rosea - American Dream

Hello all,

Although we don't respond often, we read the posts and learn a lot from all
you people.  I noticed the recent comments on coreopsis, and hoped perhaps
someone has had some experience with this pink variety.  We purchased bare
root from Dutch Gardens and followed planting directions.  It has been 3
weeks now and we don't see any sign of it erupting from the ground. Had
been assuming the leaf would resemble the "Moonbeam" leaf (of which we have
many plants).  So far all we see is what looks like grass :-(

Having looked at the photos both in the catalog and on the DG website, it
is really hard to tell if the spiky growth which resembles grass could
possibly be the coreopsis.  The other (Moonbeam) comes up in mats of green
spikes with darker stems; does anyone have the pink variety and, if so, can
you tell me if the leaf eruption is the same as the Moonbeam?
