Re: Variegated Roses?


Well, for what it's worth..
I had a rose that had mosaic virus so bad that the leaves were
outstandingly variegated. Since it was a yellow rose the leaves
complemented the flowers and the effect was kind of nice. Eventually,
however, the rose weakened (I guess from lack of chlorophyll) and I dug
it up. Wonder if that would be a problem with a "real" variegated plant.
