Hello Marilyn,
This is the hot topic among wholesalers right now. I have been informed by my
hort supply company that flats, pots, medium have gone up three times this year
thus far. Plant suppliers are informing me that the prices are rising from energy
costs from the green houses, shipping, their supplies. The circle has begun.....
I have been considering a short introduction to my 2002 catalog about the
coming plant sticker-shock on perennials. The shipment coming in tomorrow is 25 to
75 cents per plant more than two months ago's shipment, plus a surcharge for
delivery.
Inflation is out there........
