Don:
I didn't have much luck keeping this plant alive in zone 7; (maybe because
we had a zone 6 winter this year?). I really loved this plant when I found
it in the nursery. It did fairly well the first year, planted in mostly
shade, acid, very well drained. It did come back for a second year, at
least one of the 3 I planted showed up. But it didn't do much the second
year, just never was very vigorous. No sign of it this year. Sure did like
that color, though...Let us know how it does as a container plant!
