Cannas want heat and moisture plus they are very slow to emerge. This is
from upstate New York where it is cold in the spring and cool right now. We
start them in containers because of the short season. You might want to dig
up one or two and see if they have rotted. If damaged (freezing temps.) in
shipment, they rot upon planting out and you will never see them.
