Personally, I just pull it up in the flowerbeds. In the lawn it's a lost
cause. At least the lawn stays green when it's really hot outside. :)

Neat! That's right in my backyard (almost), since I live in Champaign-
Urbana. They have a lot of nice plants, and Josh (the owner) was kind
enough to let me take photos of many of the annuals over the past few
years. Say 'hi' to Josh from 'the guy who takes pictures' for me. :)
He's never there when I visit any more.
I went back again this spring, but I got the impression that their
perennial selection isn't as large as it used to be. I'm not sure if
they're trying to focus more on their specialty annuals or not, but
I couldn't find any of the unusual plants that I had taken note of
last year. Hopefully they're going to put more perennials on display
as the sales of annuals decline.
For anyone passing through the Champaign-Urbana area, this place definitely
deserves a visit. It's not huge, but they have tons of stuff that I'd
never heard of before.
