Re: Centaurea - not a problem zone 4


I just had to add my 2 cents worth because I live in zone 3, and have a
real problem with the spreading habit of centauria montana. It acts like
bindweed, spreading most happily in cultivated areas, popping up from any
teensy bit of root. It thrives in both dry, rocky, sunny spots and
semi-shaded areas. Maybe the people who have well-behaved plants live in
humid climates. That's the only difference I can see from the information
given.
