Hello Claire,
Thanks for the compliment, but I am plenty busy already. I do a monthly
column on shade gardening in a local gardening magazine. Do a short piece on
my web site each month (or try to). Have a feature coming our this month in
a national garden magazine. Under contract for a couple more this year.
When I wrote for a local newspaper as freelance on a regular basis I was
consistently told to keep it down to a 8th grade level and keep humor,
religion and sexual references out of the articles. If I did not they simply
edited them out. Have not offered them anything in years now.
