Hi all,
Thanks for the great answers to my clematis questions. We are in zone 5a, so maybe
they won't be as vigorous as Bill indicated is the case in his zone 6a.
Do any of you clematis officianados have suggestions as to other smaller clematis
that I could get at one of the online nurseries. My mother would like something
with the longest bloom period possible and no reddish purple. The "climbing
surface" is only about one foot wide, and I would guess the halfway point where
the right side plant would meet the left side plant would be about 10'. She also
mentioned she likes the ones with bell-shaped flowers, although this doesn't have
to be the only choice/option.
Thanks,
Karen
