Hello Debra,
I am now aware that thing can be handled in that manner. However, as has
been pointed out in another message, if the editor chooses to leave the
credit off... then that is it. Author or photographer has no final,
absolute, say over the matter. A bit like all good bureaucrats in a
circle... no one is ultimately responsible.
