Sounds as though you had a very special Mother's Day.
One day I hope to return to England and spend a couple weeks, at the
least, seeing a couple of gardens, visiting a few gardeners. Should have
made the trip this past 6 months or so.... travel was very cheap.
I have a very fond memory for the local country pubs. Such friendly
talkative people, good stick to your ribs food and the heavy ale.
One day... one day.
