Hi Chris,

I have tried vinegar with varying results - dandilions died, sheep 
sorrel loved it ( if any one else has a problem with sorrel, try 
lime, works a treat).

ideally, I'd like to kill back the forest under there and then put 
multiple layers of black plastic and top it off with stone.
