Re: Agastache

Sorry I wasn't paying much attention when this came up, and this may have
been discussed already but I have a white variety of Agastache foeniculum in
my garden- hardy to at least zone 4, maybe 3. It does reseed a bit- usually
I have a dozen or so plants of it come up from seed, but I wouldn't call it
a problem.
Quite tall-hence the name Giant Hyssop that it often goes by. Not as pretty
as some of the tender species like A. cana, but certainly worth the space. I
rather prefer the purple flowered versions I've seen but it fits into my
white garden quite nicely. Very popular with bees during the day-have not
seen a humming bird around it. At night it's worth taking a look at by
flashlight while it is in bloom because it attracts the big hummingbird
moths.
