Thanks, Bill. I did see Gillian Blades at the nursery. I'll take a
closer
look and study up on it a little. Yes, white goes with everything. I
have
three whites and they are all different. I think Gillian Blades has a
faint pink cast? just as Guernsey cream has an ever so pale yellow cast.
Since you're in 6a, I guess GB simply has more modest growth habits than
some clematis. I have a Hagley Hybrid I forgot to mention that I think
your favorite would look great with.
