Peony

Boy, it has been a steady rain here in Pennsylvania all night and now this
morning.

Question: Can you take cuttings from tree peonies? The branches look
woody? Do they send up suckers? Just getting into tree peonies. My
neighbors have these large bushes and the two I planted last year only have
one blossom on each bush. The flowers are wonderful. I realize now that I
planted them too close so have to move one bush as they become wide. Do
they need to be fertilized?
