Just cover, the second node.
Made some cuttings last year of a white semi-double and they are just
starting to grow new shoots after a long winter. Had about a 40 percent success
rate. Not too bad because I do not believe they were that well looked after last
year, they were just cut off the vine and treated with a rooting powder and
put into 2.5 inch cell pots and put under the sprinklers in open shade with the
"normal" pots of plants.
They have roots coming from both the first and second nodes.
