Hi Monica,
If you do it now, I'd recommend cutting the flower buds off. Be sure
to give it lots of water, but it should be OK.
I've found that burying the roots in a wet pile of mulch in the shade
is the best way to minimize shock. Keep the mulch wet, and then in a
few days you can move the plant to its new home.
Lots of water is the key! Of course, you'll have better results if you
wait until fall, but I'm an impatient type.
