RE: Hypertufa... Ledges?


Sorry, don't know anything about Hypertufa, but some other thoughts that
crossed my mind.

Pond liner- I would worry about drainage. Yes, you could angle it to drain
down, but that might be an issue. I think it is a cool idea for a natural
shed, but if drainage is that critical...the pond liner will trap water in
any crease. 

Have you looked into featherweight rocks? They are cheaper since they are
priced by the pound so real rocks cost much more. They are lighter, but make
sure you use gloves, rough edges really cut my hands up. I have had some out
in Illinois weather for a few years, still look good. They are also easy to
cut to fit into the required space as well. If you would like to see what
they look like, I think I have a picture of them installed in a bog area
border.
