Rhonda, I only stake mine if they get taller than about 5 feet- generally the
stems are
quite fat and rigid and they seem to stand quite well on thier own . Mine are
in a protected area and there is not much danger of wind. They are'nt quite
the babies that the delphiniums are! Reguards , Kathy in the Napa Valley
