I have seen (in pictures) this growing up a small
tomato cage into or around a complimentary
perennial, sort of "water fall" effect. Very nice.
Have tried it myself with a large tomato cage,
climatis 'Purpurea Plena Elegans' (mauvy
purple) into 'Silver King' artemesia. So far, so
good!

I have two healthy c. heracleifolia that have
done very well. This will
be their third year. So this year I ordered c.
'Recta'. Has anyone had
any experience with this one. Do I treat it like
any other herbasceous
perennial? Is it floppy? I find c. herc. needs
some support to keep from
flopping over. The bed it will be in recieves
afternoon shade, high and
light.
Thanks
