Hi all!
I have a verbascum (I think it's 'Helen Johnson') in my yard that has been
flowering for a month or so. The last few flowers are now open and I
wonder if I should cut off the flower stalk or not. Will I get a second
bloom? Do they reseed themselves? It has four or five flower stalks,
should I cut some back and not others?
Thanks!
Nan

So goes an old chinese proverb:
If you want to be happy for a few hours, get drunk;
If you want to be happy for a week-end get married;
If you want to be happy for a week, barbeque a pig;
If you want to be happy all your life long become a gardener
