Steve, how is your border doing? I am trying to get some lavender planted. Do you have a foolproof method to assure good drainage? I'm thinking of a pot! I have ordered Bergenia cordifolia 'Bressingham White' and expect that being near the coast in New England and watering the adjacent roses will keep the bergenia happy. Barbara, you might try ordering from Shady Oaks nursery. I have been happy with their stuff before. They specialize in plans for shade, but obviously many will take sun. I'm throwing some lamb's ears into the mix in this border, by the way, partly to break up the green foliage and partly to echo the foliage of the nearby lines of lavender. I'm real excited about this. Can hardly wait for April and May.
