I use the ribbon grass in the center of some of my hanging baskets for
height. It is very striking with dark purple cascade petunias and white
alyssum planted around the sides. That is one of the few places it is safe
to plant ribbon grass. Another invasive groundcover. I like it though and
keep it in bounds.
