Dear Listmembers,
I just purchased a small trio (cheaper than the bigger pot)
of Hydrangea serrata 'Blue Bird'. The pot tag says they came from
VanBloem gardens. The blooms are quite lovely. The culture requirements
say full sun and will reach 3-5 feet.
I am a little surprised by the "full sun" and wondered if anyone has
had experience with this plant. I live in Zone 7b/8 in N Carolina where
the heat, humidity and sun can be pretty potent.
I would appreciate any comments and suggestions as to its habits.
