Matt,
You should pick off and destroy any leaves showing infestation. You can
prune the stems back to new, healthy growth also. Sometimes a spraying of
insecticidal soap for several weeks will help. Leafminers overwinter in the
soil. It would be a good idea to cultivate around plants late in the fall
to expose them to birds and other predators.
Whenever mine get leafminers, I just ignore them. Usually the plants do
just fine.
