Angelonia has been grown in the University of Georgia Trial Gardens 
so you can get information on the plant at their website:

Click on Specialty Annuals and then on Angelonia and you'll get 
plenty of info.  You might want to check Warm-Season Trials, too.  
They did not cut spent flowers back and the plants continued to bloom 
for them.
