Carolann,

I grew lambs ear from seed several years ago. It is thriving (prefers full
sun) in sun and shade. It puts up with a lot of abuse from rabbits gnawing
and children rubbing it. I love the fuzzy touch and the beautiful silvery
green leaves. It is indeed a perennial and definitely NOT a weed. It makes
a wonderful border as it grows to about 8" tall. The flowers spike up to
about a foot tall. I have not dried the leaves, but have heard that they
look beautiful in dried arrangements. Hope this helps.
