It makes a wonderful border as it grows to about 8" tall.
The flowers spike up to about a foot tall.

         Your letter certainly did help. We also thought it was beautiful to 
the touch as well as sight. Although you wrote about flowers, we did 
not know that the plant bloomed. What is it supposed to look like? Have you
ever transplanted it? Does it go easy or kicking and screaming all the way?
I know I said she has them growing in her yard, but she just bought the house 
and things are growing and blooming all around her, somethings that she 
is unfamilar with. Thank you so much.
