We always grow a few of the old time single Hollyhock's along the side
fence as a happy reminder of our early childhood. My paternal grandmother
always had hollyhock's growing beside her barn and she would make
miniature dolls with bright flowing skirts from them for us to play with.
We cannot help but stop and smile and think back to Grandmother Martin
and carefree times when the Hollyhock's are in bloom.
