I've had fairly good luck rooting New Guinea impatiens about the same
way as "regular" ones, although I generally lose a few. I use rooting
hormone and stick the cuttings in sand (because that's what happens to
be in the hot bed I use for propogation.) Of the cuttings I made last
fall, probably about 50% were successful. Not great, but not too bad,
either.
