White Oriental lilies would work.  There are some shorter cultivars
(2 feet) that do well in pots.  Some people find the fragrance too
strong, though, especially if these are centerpieces during dinner.

White Cosmos would be pretty as a cut flower, or Shasta daisies. Shorter
daylilies in the cream or near-white tones might work.  White geraniums
would be easy, or many of the annuals -- white begonias, impatiens,
snapdragons, etc.
