Re: Lysimachia ciliata Firecracker


This a spectacular plant, although I'd say the flowers are buttercup yellow
rather than pale yellow. It certainly runs, especialy in my clay-based
soil, but it's never such a thug as it relation Lysimachia punctata. It
looks great from the moment the purple foliage comes through in spring
(interplant with blue wood anemones) and later with tall pokers and tall
yellow-variegated grasses.
