Rudbekia "Indian Summer"

Last night I finally found some of these during a milk/bread trip to the
store (or should I say milk/bread/look-at-the-plants--oops!--forgot the
milk trip). In the process I found these "Indian Summer" Rudbekias that
always look fantastic at the local botanical garden (Powell Gardens).
My question is that the tag with the pot said "annual". Does this mean
they will not reseed? I think they are great since they are a bit shorter
and am planning to give them all the room they want--assuming they come back.
