Re: Slugs - where are they?

I wonder if they are a little late this year. The reason I say that is when
I compare my bloom-time chart from last year to this year, many things are
blooming one to two weeks later this year so far - shrubs, trees,
perennials. I have only been keeping a chart for two years, so that's not
much data, but has anyone else noticed this? And we haven't heard a towhee
yet this year, which we often hear by mid to late April (maybe we just won't
have any towhees this year - I would be very sad, they have been here the 10
years we have lived here, and their "Drink your Tea" means summer to me.)
