Do you have a healthy bird population, chickens or ducks? A friend of mine
said even once she got rid of her chickens it took her 2-3 years to get any
slugs and this is in Oregon, the slug capital of the world...

For mine is a little old fashioned garden where the flowers come
together to praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do
likewise.
