Jerry, I'm in Southern California, a far far milder climate than yours and
my A. tuberosa just appeared this week, so I'd say don't give up on yours
yet.  If it gives you any idea of how our areas compare, I planted
cucumbers and corn in the ground about two weeks ago and I was a month late!
