No, not really.
Just let it finish blooming and then pull out all but the very center of the
clump RELIGIOUSLY for the rest of this growing year. That's the way I handle
it. My clump is small enough that I pull out the whole batch with never a fear
~ it will return, and return in abundance. One place I know of has it lining a
walkway, and they mow it under every year after it finishes blooming.
I've gotten past the point where I squawk my indignation at some poor creature
trying to buy it. That effort merely earns me black glances from the nursery
owners. Who can blame them? They're only trying to get rid of their excess,
too.
You're only letting yourself in for big trouble if you're trying to get rid of
it...that seems like an impossible task.
