You had mentioned to Donna that the Hollyhocks will take the heat!?! I don't
understand why my die each year when the heat and humidity get so high here.
What am I doing wrong? I've got them planted in a raised bed in full sun--I
tried part shade and I didn't get the early summer blooms, just alot of
height. I've been planting them for four years now and have never succeeded
in keeping them alive past June. Last year I did have the zabrina (sp) kind
that took the heat better--but still by August it too was gone.
Any pointers you can offer would be much appreciated.
