IN GENERAL, inedible is not the same as poisonous/toxic, and implies
that the plant is, perhaps, tough or not good tasting (e.g. don't use
these for your favorite potato casserole!). I've had an occasional
piece of meat that was inedible!
That said, be very careful in eating any plant or plant part of which
you are unsure.
