You said it better than I. I, too, have been a long time member. A lot of
plans were announced. The suburban farm location is very high upkeep and the
"Big Dig" is to have a Mass. Hort. urban garden on top of one of the
overpasses.
The "Big Dig" for the rest of the country is a road through Boston which is
the most expensive urban road project in the entire world. It has been under
construction for many years. I don't to expect to ever see it finished,
maybe my grandson.
They did not announce the cost of the books. Maybe Chicago Botanic members
will be told.
