You are welcome. When drying these flowers it works best to pick them when the first blossoms open and the upper buds are coloring up. I hang them in small bunches hanging upside down in a dark room. Heavenly Blue is a sky blue edging with white throats. I believe I either got the seeds through Park's or Thompson and Morgan. I can't find the seed packet in my seed box! :( Ok found it only its not called Heavenly Blue (must have been thinking Morning Glories?) it's called 'Frosted Skies' and it came from Thompson and Morgan
http://www.thompson-morgan.com/seeds/us/list_l_1.html . The picture shows it being purple but it is a sky blue color and the variety I had showed more white than blue than this pic.
Because I mulch my beds I start my Larkspurs in spring in the greenhouse and transplant them out later.

Hello Debbie,
Thanks for the tip. I made a note to myself to see if I can locate a
packet of seeds. I would imagine now is about the time to sow the seeds for
germination next spring. I will try and locate a spot in the garden where
then can wonder around just a bit. Particularly interested in the aspect you
mention on drying. We are beginning to get into the craft of dried and
pressed flowers around here.
